INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IIS)

BAHRAIN TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY (BATELCO) is Bahrain's State Owned Telecom Carrier. BATELCO is one of our key large customers & over the years we have provided them with various Fiber Optics & Copper Cabling Solutions.

Major solutions that we have deployed in Batelco are:

Premises Fiber Optic Cabling Infrastructure for Interconnectivity of all NGS equipment based on cable connection technology allocated across TEN SITES via external existing fiber optic junction. This deployment is based on Fiber (AMP & NETBOX) & AMP NETCONNECT MPO Solutions. This project covers 10 Batelco sites, includes 96C & 48C SM Fiber installations (over 6 Kilometers of Internal Fiber cabling within Batelco sites) & has over 8000+ Fiber terminations. This will provide Batelco with a unified core network that integrates different services for example MPLS, INET, Soft switches, and MSAN, on a single transport network.
AMP MPO Cabling System: AMP NETCONNECT MPO Cabling Solution based on pre-terminated MPO trunk cables & MPO cassettes. The introduction & implementation of this technology by Batelco will upgrade the cabling infrastructure to provide a Telecom Carrier – Grade Network as it will interconnect two or more end equipments in different area's with minimum number of cables running between floors.
REGULAR CABLING CONTRACT: As a preferred BATELCO vendor we deploy, on a daily basis, network points at various Batelco Sites.

INTERNET SERVICES ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
INET PROJECT through TYCO AMP MPO Cabling System: Interconnectivity of over 400 Servers in 35 Cabinets based on AMP NETCONNECT MPO DATACENTER Solution with pre-terminated AMP MPO (MM & SM) Trunk cables & MPO cassettes. This will provide the INET a state-of-the-art DATACENTER Platform, one of the best in the region.
US-NAVY: Apart from other large Projects that we have deployed, IIS has also successfully installed & commissioned the AMP MPO Technology Solution at the US-Navy in Bahrain. This is the first installation of MPO Technology in the entire Gulf region & one of the largest Fiber Optics MPO deployment in the Gulf & Middle East.
